Just down the road from our family home, there once was a wide green pasture where the mossy, worn cornerstone of old one-room schoolhouse still lies hidden among the long grass. A neighbor once shared that this was his schoolhouse as a young boy. On quiet walks through this pasture, you can almost hear the musical laughter of the children and imagine simpler school days.

 Schoolhouse Educational & Therapeutic Services was founded in 2021 by owner, Mari-Briege Nalette, M.S. After years of experience in individual consulting, they decided to put their collective efforts and resources together, recruiting highly trained consultants; to yield even more positive results for schools that are facing higher levels of diversity in the needs of their students.

      Schoolhouse's team of educational consultants have experience in private practice and as educators in educational leadership, educational assessment, prek-12 schools and higher education, in new teacher training, early childhood education, literacy and reading disabilities, behavioral, speech, language, learning, and developmental disorders. Their collective experience is focused on helping teachers create cultures of dignity in the classroom for all students and revisit the key ingredients of the successful one-room schoolhouse.
